Pamela Langenderfer, ND

I truly believe FOOD is the foundation to optimal hormonal health.  After years of clinical practice, I have seen people frustrated with less than optimal results.  What I  came to realize is  what you fuel your body with needed to be addressed first.  Often times when people change their nutrition 50% of their hormone symptoms  improve within weeks.  You cannot out supplement or out medicate a poor diet!

I grew up on a farm in rural Michigan. You would think growing up on a farm that I would have had good nutrition and been really healthy  but I was not!  I had chronic ear infections as a child which resulted in many rounds of antibiotics.  I had severe eczema and asthma which resulted in chronic steroid use.  This ultimately wreaked havoc on my gut, skin and hormones.  I spent the first half of my life feeling awful all the time,I knew there had to be a better way to live.  This ultimately led me to seek out a career as a naturopathic physician and acupuncturist.

I thoroughly love what I do and help women on a daily basis find hormone balance through the principles of naturopathic and Chinese medicine.

She was adjunct faculty for many years teaching gynecology and advanced endocrinology/fertility and has been the Medical Director for 2 large integrative clinics in Portland. She is the Medical Director for Precision Analytical, Inc, creators of the DUTCH hormone test.
