The Endocrinology Association of Naturopathic Physicians (EndoANP) is an official affiliate of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP).

Naturopathic Endocrinology is the art and science of optimizing the hormone systems using naturopathic modalities. Naturopathic Endocrinology provides evidence-informed guidance on the safe and effective use of natural and supportive therapies when combined with conventional treatment. Combining naturopathic and conventional medicine supports the pursuit of the best possible outcomes for patients.

  • Leila Turner, ND, FABNE

    PRESIDENT

    Leila Turner, a licensed Naturopathic Doctor (ND), runs a busy group practice in Arcadia in Phoenix. She graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and Psychology. In 2007, she co-founded the Naturopathic Medical Student Association. Upon graduating from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2007, she was awarded the prestigious SCNM Student Leadership Award and the Daphne Blayden Award in recognition of academic excellence, compassion, and perseverance.

    Dr. Turner was awarded a 2-year residency in women’s health and general medicine at SCNM Medical Center. Upon completing her residency in 2009, she joined Naturopathic Specialists, where her private practice thrived for seven years. In 2016 she opened the group clinic Living Wellness Medical Center which has a CNME-accredited residency program. She was an Assistant Professor for the Department of Clinical Sciences at SCNM, where she played an integral role in the development of the revised curriculum at SCNM. In 2011 she was also awarded the SCNM Alumni Award. Dr Turner is a founding member of the Endocrinology Association of Naturopathic Physicians in 2016 and is now the current president.

    Dr. Turner offers professional, business, and clinical coaching to Naturopathic Physicians through her Docere Circle program at TheDocereCenter.com. Dr. Turner is a well-known, dynamic public speaker, an empowering educator, and a compassionate physician who guides her patients to transform their health.

  • Nicole Marie Ziomek, ND, FABNE

    VICE PRESIDENT

    Dr. Nicole Marie Ortiz received her doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine with honors in research from NUNM in Portland, Oregon and has founded two successful full-service integrative practices in Palm Springs, CA. She has been in private practice for 12 years. Dr. Nicole has a passion for endocrinology, and is a fellow of the American board of Naturopathic Endocrinology. She also holds a special love for regenerative therapies and practices aesthetic and ortho procedures in her practice as well.

    Dr. Ortiz is a board member of both the Endocrinology Association of Naturopathic Physicians and the Nature’s Cures Scientific Advisory Board. She loves public speaking and serves as an educator to her peers and local community extensively on endocrinology and regenerative therapies.

    As a community service advocate from a young age, Dr. Ortiz served as Vice-President of the Women Leaders Forum and writing the curriculum for a nonprofit organization to make nutrition, mindfulness, and movement education available to every high school across the nation. Dr. Ortiz has been featured in Suzanne Somers’ book, Knockout, and on American Health Journal PBS specials and named the ‘Distinguished Woman of the Year’ for the 42nd Assembly District and Palm Springs Female Entrepreneur of the Year.

    She loves yoga, being a mom, and travel.

    Dr. Aumatma is a Naturopathic Doctor, with a Master’s in Nutrition, who has been practicing medicine for 10 years. In addition, she is also certified in Restorative Medicine and BodyTalk and brings those modalities into her practice. Dr. Aumatma is also a sought out speaker on topics of Fertility, Women’s Health, and Women’s Empowerment. In her private practice, Dr. Aumatma is solely focused on fertility, pregnancy, post-partum care, and hormonal health for women. Dr. Aumatma was awarded the “Best Alternative Medicine Practitioner″ award; she consults with clients locally in the Bay Area and also works virtually. In her free time, Dr. Aumatma likes to connect with nature, write poetry, and make art – over wine, of course!

    Hi, I’m Dr. Amy! I am a board-certified Naturopathic Doctor, registered with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario, certified IV Therapy and BIo-identical Hormone Replacement (BHRT) Practitioner, wellness advocate and corporate health speaker. I have been in practice for over 14 years. My passion is stress reduction and wellness to balance hormones. I am a graduate of the four-year program at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto. I hold an Honours Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Waterloo. With my undergraduate background and interest in Science, I have always sought to bridge the gap between diagnostic testing, research and natural health. I have special interest in functional endocrinology (hormonal concerns for men, women and children). I further utilize my Naturopathic tools of; Nutrition, Botanicals, Acupuncture, Diet and Lifestyle changes to teach and educate my patients – adults, teenagers and children. I am a wife and busy mom of two young children and am constantly striving to find balance and harmony in all areas of life. When I’m not with patients, you can find me at the yoga studio, making healthy recipes or outdoors with my family.

    Dr. Aylah Clark received her doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University in 2014. Prior to medical school, she studied lupus as a research assistant at the Medical University of South Carolina while earning a BSc in Biology from the College of Charleston. She treats many complex conditions including rheumatological, cardiovascular, and gastrointestinal disorders with a focus on endocrinology and a specialty in lipedema. Dr. Clark has had numerous speaking engagements on the topic of lipedema including the 2019 LE&RN Lymphedema Symposium at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Harvard Medical School and the 2018 International Symposium on Keto & Lipedema. She is currently practicing in Connecticut at Whole Health Wellness Center and Third Stone Integrative Health.

  • Raquel Espinol, ND, FABNE

    Dr. Raquel Espinol ND graduated with honors and received her doctorate degree in naturopathic medicine from Sonoran University of Health Sciences (formerly SCNM) in 2014. After shadowing Dr. Christianson in her formative years at SUHS, she knew she was going to devote her practice to treating conditions such as Hashimoto’s and Graves’ Diseases, adrenal dysfunction and female and male hormonal imbalances and conditions.

  • Linda Khoshaba, NMD, FABNE

    Dr. Linda Khoshaba, NMD, FABNE is the founder of Natural Endocrinology Specialists (NES) and is a physician that is Board Certified in Naturopathic Endocrinology. She has been practicing in this field for almost a decade. She specializes in treating hormone imbalances in conditions such as Hashimoto’s and Graves thyroid disease, adrenal dysfunction and female and male hormones.

    She believes that you have the potential to achieve optimal wellness and vitality. She focuses on identifying and treating the root causes of disease and considers the physical, mental, emotional, genetic and environmental aspects of health. Dr. Khoshaba works every day to empower people, patients, and communities to reclaim their wellbeing by partnering with them in their health care journey.

  • Ashley May, ND, FABNE

    Dr. May is a naturopathic physician and fellow of the American Board of Naturopathic Endocrinology (2021). He’s owner and medical director of Alaska-based Apex Integrative Medicine, a DPC-modeled clinic specializing in all things endocrine and GI-related. He’s also owner of Apex Medicinals, an athletic performance wellness company. Dr. May has been the men’s health expert for Vytal Health, a Milwaukee-based integrative medicine Telehealth group, since 2019. He’s also been heavy involved in many community-engaging projects like the Vitamin D Initiative (providing vitamin D education through free community lectures and low-cost/free vitamin D supplementation), a pro bono physicians group (providing care for low-income patients), establishing a Co-Op Market (sourcing organic, local foods through cooperative farming exchanges), and a community-university partnered research project evaluating the neuroprotective effects of Alaska-harvested Chaga. He is regularly sought after as a speaker, radio show/podcast guest, medical writer and DPC-startup consultant. He received his doctorate in naturopathic medicine from Bastyr University in 2009.

  • Fiona McCulloch, ND, FABNE

    Dr. Fiona McCulloch is a Naturopathic Doctor in Toronto, Canada where she was born and raised. She founded White Lotus Integrative Medicine, a women’s endocrinology practice there shortly after graduating from CCNM in 2001. She also holds a B.Sc. focused on molecular biology from the University of Guelph. Dr. Fiona authored “8 Steps To Reverse Your PCOS” a comprehensive book on polycystic ovary syndrome. She is also interested in precision medicine, serving as a medical advisor to and developing the nutrition program for Open Source Health. This project uses genetic/molecular research, evidence-based integrative medicine, and technology to track health markers and outcomes in women. Dr. Fiona also enjoys speaking to integrative medicine clinicians and peer-reviewing research to help disseminate new information in the practice of natural endocrinology.
