Biography:
Dr. Amy Tung, ND is a board-certified Naturopathic Doctor, writer and speaker and health advocate. For over 16 years she has been helping patients achieve optimal health and wellness through hormonal balance. She is further certified in both intravenous (IV) injection therapy and bio-identical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT), and along with the other Naturopathic tools, she educates and helps restore hormonal health for her patients.
She currently sits on the board of the Endocrinology Association of Naturopathic Physicians (EndoANP) as treasurer, and has been a board member for four years. She has received the Fellow of the American Board of Naturopathic Endocrinology designation (based on the standard for the American Board of Naturopathic Endocrinology, which is the certification branch of the Endocrinology Association of Naturopathic Physicians).
She is a graduate of the four-year program at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) in Toronto, registered with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario, the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND) and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND). She also holds an Honours Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Waterloo. After graduating from CCNM, she spent another eight years mentoring with women's health doctors, pharmacists and other health care providers to further her study in women's hormones.
Dr. Tung is a wife and busy mom of three, and is constantly looking to find balance and harmony in all areas of life. When she's not with patients, you can find her doing yoga, making healthy recipes in the kitchen or exploring new hiking trails and spending time in nature with her family.
